Short version: no accounts, no ads, no profiles. Your settings and likes stay in your browser. Google Analytics runs only if you allow it.

Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany. When you open a page, the web server records the requested address, time, HTTP status, the referring page, your browser type and your IP address in a log file. We use these logs only to keep the site running securely and to find errors. Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site.
Settings and likes in your browser
Theme, speed, line set, line change style, your consent choice and the lines you like are stored in your browser's localStorage under keys beginning with aiz-. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it any time in your browser settings; the "Change your choice" link below removes only the analytics consent.
Google Analytics
If you agree in the note at the bottom of the start page, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It counts visits and tells us which lines are opened, liked or shared, so we can see what travels. Until you agree, no Google script is loaded and no cookie is set. With your consent, Google sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*, lifetime up to 2 years) and processes your shortened IP address, device and browser data, pages viewed and the events named above. Google may transfer data to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6 (1) a GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time: change your choice. More in Google's privacy policy.
Sharing
The share buttons are plain links. Nothing is loaded from X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Mastodon, WhatsApp or your mail app until you click one of them; from then on the respective service's privacy policy applies. The wallpaper download is rendered in your browser.
Fonts and external content
The typeface is served from this site. No fonts, scripts or images are loaded from third parties, except Google Analytics after your consent.
If you write to us, we keep your message as long as needed to answer it and for as long as legal retention periods require. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) b or f GDPR.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) f GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can complain to a supervisory authority; responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf.
